Stadtmarketing Kempten GmbH

The Department Tourism serves as the tourism marketing organisation for the tourism destination of Kempten. Its core task is to plan, develop, implement and monitor measures to secure and promote strategic goals for tourism and to raise the profile of the Allgäu metropolis of Kempten.

Among other things, it runs a Tourist Information Centre, organises guided tours of the town and experiences, puts together supporting programmes for groups, creates print media, presents Kempten at trade fairs and events, and develops products together with local and regional service providers.

This department focuses on event management, location marketing and city marketing, with the aim of increasing the quality of stay and frequency in Kempten's city center. To this end, it organises high-profile events – previously run by City-Management Kempten e. V. – and drives forward projects in collaboration with local stakeholders.
